New CAM from vhf: up to 20% faster

vhf is releasing dentalcam 9. According to vhf, machining times are cut by up to 20 per cent, and nesting and the placement of support pins are handled automatically instead of by hand. From the fourth quarter, existing machines can be upgraded.

If you have a vhf machine in production, this is the most interesting news in a long time — because it makes your existing machine faster without you changing machine.

Less time per job

vhf states that dentalcam 9 cuts machining times by up to 20 per cent. In a lab that mills all day that is not a margin, it is capacity you gain without investing in hardware.

Less manual work

Blank selection, nesting and the placement of support pins are handled automatically. These are steps that used to require someone sitting and fiddling, and that are easy to do slightly worse when things are busy. The interface has also been reworked and is considerably more direct.

Several machines from one place

dentalcnc 9 can control several machines at once. If you have two or three in production, you no longer have to move between computers.

Keep an eye on the machine even when you are not next to it

The myvhf platform shows production in real time, raises an alarm when something goes wrong and reminds you about maintenance. For us it also means we can see what is happening inside the machine before we drive out — which often means we do not have to drive out at all.

The package won the German Innovation Award 2026.

Can your machine be upgraded?

New vhf machines ship with dentalcam 9. Existing machines can be upgraded from the fourth quarter of 2026. Get in touch and we will check what applies to your particular machine and what an upgrade involves.
