The agreement is signed. JB Nordic is now the exclusive supplier of HUGE's CAD/CAM range in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland — zirconia, PMMA and a number of consumables. The first delivery is on its way.
This is the biggest change to our range in several years.
What the agreement covers
HUGE's entire CAD/CAM programme. The emphasis is on blanks — zirconia and PMMA, which is what most labs use daily. Beyond that we are bringing in staining colours, lab silicone and other consumables from their range.
The agreement covers Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.
About HUGE
HUGE Dental was founded in 2006 and manufactures in its own 31,000 square metre factory, with three in-house research departments. The materials are CE marked, ISO 13485 certified and FDA approved, and are sold in more than a hundred countries.
Many of you will already know the PMMA. HUGE's PMMA has been in Nordic labs for several years. If you already use it, nothing about the material changes — only where you order it.
The zirconia is new to the Nordic market. We have taken it on because we think it is genuinely good, and because the price level is different from what you are used to. But a material proves itself in your own machine, with your settings and your work. So start small: order a blank and compare it with what you use today. We are fairly confident how that comparison ends.
What it means for you
The same materials, but from a supplier that also installs and services the machine they will be milled in. Blanks, burs and consumables end up on the same order, at your contract price, from the same stock in Stockholm.
When will it be available?
The first order is placed and has a lead time of about six weeks. We expect to have the range on the shelf in October.
