- No compressed air at all — put it wherever you like.
- The entire milling file sits in the machine — computer trouble does not stop it.
- Licence-free software — no ongoing annual fees.
The P55D needs no compressed air at all — not for the spindle, the tool change or the ionizer. It can be placed anywhere, even in a clinic where the compressor capacity is already spoken for, and you avoid the investment, the noise and the maintenance a compressor brings with it. The servo drive in the cast bed compensates for micro-vibrations and holds repeatability at three micrometers around the clock. The entire milling file sits in the machine's own memory during the job, the software is license-free and the tools cost a fraction of what you are used to.
Key features
No compressor
High-frequency spindle without air cooling. Put the machine where it suits you, not where the compressed air is.
90° vertical milling
The tool works straight down into the blank from above. That gives access in large and deep constructions — long bridges, bars and high spans — where angled milling alone forces compromises.
The entire milling file in the machine's memory
The job is transferred to the machine before it starts. The computer can be shut down or unplugged in the middle of a milling run without anything being lost.
Restart from the point of interruption
The software continues from the last point instead of starting over from scratch. At least 80% less rework after an interruption.
High milling speed
The spindle runs up to 60,000 rpm. Shorter run times without the surface suffering.
Licence-free software
UPCAM and CNC-3 are included with no annual fee and no license key to renew. Install them on more computers as the lab grows — the cost does not follow along.
Low tool cost
The tools cost considerably less than those for most five-axis milling machines and are on our shelf for next-day delivery.
Generously dimensioned components
Frame, guides and drive are dimensioned far beyond what the milling demands. That is why the precision holds up after thousands of jobs.
Servo drive in a cast aluminium bed
Compensates for micro-vibrations during the run and maintains three-micrometre repeatability.
CNC-3 controls several machines
One computer monitors and runs several milling machines at the same time. Less desk space, fewer programs to keep track of.
Electric ionizer
Neutralizes the static in the PMMA chips electrically instead of with compressed air. No airtools to buy on top and nothing to maintain.
59 dB
Can stand in a room where someone is working.
