Shade matching in poor light is guesswork. With a colour rendering index of 95, Illumina is close to daylight, which means the shade you pick at the bench holds up when the work goes in the mouth. The lens optics direct the light outside your own line of sight so your hand does not cast a shadow over the restoration, and three settings per side let you lay the light flat across the surface when texture and transitions have to be assessed.
