A printed restoration is not finished when it leaves the printer. Post-curing gives the material its final properties, and on biocompatible resins that is the difference between a compliant part and one with residual monomer left in it. Cure uses built-in sensors to measure how much light actually reaches the parts, which makes the result the same no matter how much is in the chamber. The built-in vacuum pump removes the oxygen inhibition that otherwise leaves a tacky surface — with no nitrogen to buy in and refill. The chamber holds 1.5 litres, 143 × 199 × 60 mm.
